Working for the clients located overseas and interacting with them on daily basis does sometime presents significant challenges in terms of effective communication and resolution of difference of perception. Project Managers at Knowledge Architects have devised various ways and methodologies for not allowing physical distance between the client and Knowledge Architects to become a bottleneck in the way of successful execution and delivery of offshore projects. All of the means mentioned above have their own utility in specific contexts, depending on the complexity of the project. Knowledge Architects has successfully used these means while successfully executing projects for all of its overseas clients. Instant Messenger (MSN, Yahoo, AOL) services are used extensively at the company for daily interaction with the client’s technical team and brainstorming. Timesheets are sent on weekly basis to keep the client posted on labor inputs and work done. We are also moving ahead on implementation of an online project management software (being built in-house) for communication.
